Happening at this year's Baggataway Cup is the second annual CUFLA Rookie All Star game. A collection of players will be selected by league executives, in collaboration with the coaching staffs. Mohawk College's lacrosse sixes program enters its third year as Canada’s first collegiate Sixes team. The Mountaineers will play a six-game exhibition schedule and return to the CUFLA Sixes Showcase during the 2025 Baggataway Cup. CUFLA Commissioner Scott Fox praised the format’s fit for colleges and its role in growing men’s Sixes lacrosse in Canada. The program continues to lead in sport innovation and athlete development.

Six newly-minted inductees to the McGill Sports Hall of Fame. The 2015 men's lacrosse team a spot in the McGill Sports Hall of Fame. Under the steady hand of head coach Tim Murdoch, the team etched its name in the history books by posting a rare perfect season in Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association history, finishing with a 12-0 mark in the CUFLA East Division, outscoring their opponents by a remarkable 157-66 margin.
