2025 All Baggataway Cup Team Announced

CUFLA, the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association, is happy to announce the 2025 All Baggataway Cup Team.

Held on the first full weekend of every November, the Baggataway Cup is CUFLA's annual championship tournament. The Baggataway Cup showcases the best Canadian university lacrosse teams as they battle for the national championship across five games, over three days. The 2025 edition was held from November 7–9 at Terry Fox Stadium in Brampton, concluding the league’s historic 40th anniversary season.

This year's tournament opened with Bock University stunning Trent in a Quarter Final that saw the Excalibur give up eight second-quarter goals, along with the eventual overtime winner. In the second Quarter Final game, the Nipissing Lakers scored six fourth-quarter goals to send the Queen's Gael's to an early tournament exit. On Semi-final Saturday the Brock Badgers tournament came to an end, when they lost 15-10 to the University of Guelph. The highest seed in the Eastern Conference entering Baggataway Weekend was McGill University, who earned a tournament bye to the semi-finals. The Redbirds could not fend off a momentum fuelled Nipissing University squad and lost on a 15-12 decision. The Baggataway Championship came down to a showdown in blizzard conditions between the University of Guelph and Nipissing University. The veteran squad from the U of G easily dispatched the Lakers, winning the Baggataway Cup with a 15-5 final score.

Following a poll of CUFLA broadcasters and executive members, the following players are selected to the 2025 All Baggataway Cup team, honouring their performance at this year's national championship.

Details on the 2026 Baggataway Cup are now being finalized. The tournament will be held from November 7-9, 2026 a location that will be announced in the coming weeks.
