Brock Holds Off Laurier For A 7–6 Victory

The Brock Badgers held off the Laurier Golden Hawks for a 7–6 victory. Laurier opened with goals from Carson Reinke and Nolan MacVicar before Brock responded with three straight. Jack Parker scored twice, including one on the power-play, followed by Brayden Brown to give the Badgers a 3–2 lead after one. Jared Cook extended the lead in the second before Jack Webley answered for Laurier. Parker’s third and a goal from Guerin Jennings gave Brock a 6–3 advantage at the half.
Ronan Lamarche scored the lone goal of the third on the power-play to bring Laurier within two heading to the fourth. Hunter Casey narrowed the gap to 6–5 before Liam Larocque restored Brock’s two-goal lead with what proved to be the game-winner. Reinke added his second with just twelve seconds remaining, but the Badgers held on for the victory. Parker led Brock with three goals, while Reinke scored twice for Laurier.
