Queen’s Scores Early And Often In Defeat Of Carleton

The Queen’s Gaels defeated the Carleton Ravens 13–7, taking control early and building on their lead throughout the game. Kai Faller opened the scoring before Griffin Armstrong answered for Carleton. Queen’s then scored three straight, including Faller’s second, to lead 4–1 after one quarter. The Gaels continued to press in the second with goals from Ryan Gonsalvez, Dean Fawthrop, Zachary McLean and Cam Milligan, while Armstrong added his second for the Ravens. At the half, Queen’s led 8–2.


Gonsalvez and Fawthrop extended the lead in the third before Jenson White answered for Carleton. Lukas Gault added one more for Queen’s to make it 11–3 heading to the fourth. Gonsalvez opened the final quarter with his fourth of the game, but the Ravens responded with three straight on Armstrong’s third and a pair from White to complete his hat trick. Faller added his third for the Gaels before Jack Mullen rounded out the scoring for Carleton. Ryan Gonsalvez led the Gaels with four goals, while Kai Faller had three. Griffin Armstrong and Jenson White had three each for Carleton.
