Tarr’s Six-Goal Performance Powers Nipissing Past Toronto 19–4

Nipissing controlled the game from the opening quarter, defeating Toronto 19–4 behind a dominant offensive performance from Zach Tarr. Tarr opened the scoring at 5:32 and struck again at 13:28, helping Nipissing take a 3–1 lead after the first. He completed the hat trick at 3:50 of the second quarter before scoring the eventual game-winner at 5:24. Jack Quinn, Kaleb Fulkerson and Rory Boyle followed as Nipissing scored five unanswered goals in the quarter to carry an 8–1 advantage into halftime. The Lakers continued to pull away in the third, with Callum Jeffrey, Quinn, Nolan Downey twice and Tarr finding the back of the net. Justin Ranger briefly answered for Toronto, but Nipissing held a commanding 13–2 lead through three quarters.

Nipissing added six more goals in the fourth, beginning with a shorthanded marker from Quinn at 2:59. Ranger scored his second of the game for Toronto, but Fulkerson answered with three goals over the next five minutes, while Quinn added his fourth of the afternoon. Alex Farrington recorded Toronto’s final goal before Tarr closed the scoring at 13:47, finishing an outstanding six goal performance. Quinn contributed four goals and three assists, while Fulkerson scored four times and Ben King collected three assists. Connor O’Toole earned the win in goal for Nipissing, stopping 20 of the 24 shots he faced, while Benjamin Rishikof made 22 saves for Toronto. Nipissing finished with a decisive 41–24 advantage in shots.
