Guelph Scores Early And Often, Shutting Out Laurier

Guelph remained perfect with a dominant 26–0 victory over Laurier on Sunday afternoon. The Gryphons took control from the opening whistle, scoring 11 times in the first quarter. Robert Baxter recorded a first-quarter hat trick, while Carter Mackay scored twice and Calum Mackay, Nicholas Volkov, Sam Savery, John Logue, Ethan Brown and Ethan Lee also found the back of the net. Guelph added six more in the second to take a commanding 17–0 advantage into halftime.


The Gryphons continued to spread the scoring around after the break. Carter Mackay, Mattew Boyd and Matthew Fox scored in the third before Guelph added another six goals in the fourth. Baxter and Calum Mackay led the way with four goals each, while Carter Mackay and Savery recorded hat tricks. Guelph received goals from 14 different players, while Nicholas Parolin was perfect in goal. The Gryphons improved to 6–0 on the season.
