Ottawa Powers Past Bishop’s for 14–6 Victory

Ottawa delivered a strong performance to defeat Bishop’s 14–6 in CUFLA East Division action. The Gee-Gees produced plenty of offence despite finding themselves in penalty trouble throughout the game.

Ottawa was assessed nine penalties totalling eight minutes, compared with three penalties and two-and-a-half minutes for Bishop’s. The Gee-Gees overcame that disadvantage to secure the eight-goal victory.

Julien Belair led the Gee-Gees with four goals, while Elliot Malcolm, Hunter Lubiniecki, and Samuel Ouellette all had three each. Maxwell Chiarelli had two goals for Bishop’s, while Ben Sipples, Alexander Lizotte, Gabe Young, and Troy Carson each had singles.
