McGill Pulls Away From Trent To Remain Undefeated

The McGill Redbirds continued their undefeated season with a 16–8 victory over the Trent Excalibur. Connor Curtis opened the scoring for Trent before Torsten Blodgett, Jason Bonnema and Zack Page gave McGill a 3–1 lead after one. Blodgett added his second early in the next quarter, but Mason Tardiff and Bronsen Muller brought Trent within one. McGill answered with three straight, including a pair from Tyler Miocevich, to lead 7–3 at halftime.

Bonnema scored twice in the third, while Liam Miletich and Dylan Fenton also contributed as McGill extended its lead to 11–5 heading to the fourth. Trent continued to battle, with Keegan Detweiler scoring twice and Tardiff completing his hat trick, but McGill added five more to secure the win. Bonnema led the Redbirds with four goals and an assist, while Miletich added a goal and five assists. Tardiff’s three goals and an assist led Trent, with Curtis also scoring twice.
