The Brock Badgers opened with seven unanswered goals on their way to a 12–5 victory over the Nipissing Lakers. Colton Armitage, Guerin Jennings, Cody Rudderham and Jack Parker gave Brock a 4–0 lead after one, with Rudderham scoring shorthanded. Armitage added his second before Carter McBride and Adriaan Alderson extended the lead to 7–0. Nipissing answered with a power-play goal from Zach Tarr and a Ben King marker just sixteen seconds apart, trailing 7–2 at halftime.

The Lakers carried that momentum into the third, with Blake Davies and King bringing Nipissing within three. Jennings answered with a pair for Brock before Rohan Croisdale scored on the power play. Alderson and Parker then added their second goals of the game, giving the Badgers an 11–5 lead heading to the fourth. Armitage completed his hat trick with the quarter’s only goal to round out the scoring. Jennings also finished with three goals, while King scored twice for Nipissing.

Final score: Brock 12 Nipissing 5.
