CUFLA Releases Harmonized Rulebook for 2026 Season

The Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) has released a harmonized rulebook ahead of the 2026 season, bringing the rules governing CUFLA competition together in one document.

This does not represent a significant change in how CUFLA lacrosse is played. World Lacrosse rules have long formed the basis of CUFLA competition, with specific customizations and adaptations approved by the CUFLA Council of Teams. What’s new is that those CUFLA-specific provisions have now been incorporated directly into the applicable rules, creating one clear, easy-to-reference rulebook for players, coaches, officials and teams.
