1 min read

Queen’s jumped out to a 2–0 first-quarter lead on goals from Zeke Wills and Kai Faller before Bishop’s answered early in the second through Max Chiarella. The Gaels then took control, scoring four consecutive goals, including two from Tanner Harrison, to carry a commanding 6–1 advantage into halftime.

Whatever was said in the Gaiters' dressing room at halftime lit a fire under them.  Bishop’s took control, reducing the deficit to three by the end of the third quarter. Cam Milligan’s shorthanded goal with 13:05 remaining in the game restored the Gaels' four goal lead, but Bishop’s responded through Brady Bell and Liam Reynolds to make it 8–6 with just over five minutes to play. Ryan Gonsalvez and Harrison then scored late for Queen’s to secure the 10–6 victory. Harrison finished with a hat trick, and Faller added two goals for Queen’s, while Chiarella led the Gaiters with a pair.

Final score: Queen’s 10, Bishop's 6.
