One week remains in the 2014 CUFLA regular season and much is to be decided. Six teams in each division qualify for the post-season and the battle for those final spots are still up-for-grabs.

In the East Division, McGill (11-0) clinched the division two weeks ago. Bishop's (8-2), Carleton (6-3) and Queen's (5-5) have clinched a playoff spot while Trent (3-7) and Ottawa (3-8) are fighting for the final position. The two teams split their season series with each winning at home.

Brock (10-0) control their own destiny in the West while Western (8-2), Guelph (7-3), Toronto (5-5) and Laurentian (5-6) have earned their spot in the playoffs. Either McMaster (3-7) or first-year CUFLA team Nipissing (3-8) will earn the final spot.

The chase for the league top scorer has heated up in the final weeks. Brandon Perras (Ottawa) currently leads all scorers with 50 points (24 goals, 26 assists). The 6'0" attackman had a dominant summer recording 104 points in 28 games to lead the Cornwall Celtics to the Ontario Jr. C League championship.

Brandon Slade (Brock) is close behind the league leader with 21 goals and 28 assists. The second-year player plays his summer ball with the Orangeville Jr. A Northmen. His teammate Greg Davidson, who leads all CUFLA goal scorers with 38 (six assists) and Curtis Knight (Guelph) 25 goals, 19 assists are tied for third.
